Bio: I’ve always been creative. It’s in the genes! My Grandpa was an illustrator, my Nana a hobbyist, my dad and brother can creatively solve any problem and make anything. My mum and sister can bring you to tears with their writing without even breaking a sweat. Growing up we had a seemingly endless supply of sugar paper, pens, and clay. From an early age I was far more interested in making and doing than anything else. I remember Mum saying I was good at colouring within the lines as a toddler and I carry that as a core part of my identity to this day! I think it also helps that I fell madly in love with my Art Teacher (Ms Vogel, IYKYK), that I have a brain that is hardwired for tangents, and that there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to be creative.
